House Dance International is the world’s premier house dance festival dedicated to house dance and house music culture. New York City, the mecca of urban dance, plays host to the annual festival each summer. The event celebrates the most breathtaking, dynamic and sophisticated of all urban dance forms: the art of house dancing.

From its early roots in Chicago and New York, house dance has grown into an international phenomenon, inspiring dancers around the globe, from Paris to Japan, London to South Africa.

HDI represents an historic culmination of more than 30 years of artistic and cultural achievement by the dancers, instructors and choreographers who have pioneered and developed the foundation of house dance movement and philosophy.
